Chief Content Officer Kim Grant has rallied over 400 travel authors and their apps to completion on iTunes and Google Play since joining Sutro in late 2009.

Putting her money (and time) where her mouth is, she also writes her own best-selling Boston Travel Essentials app for Sutro. As far as 'old school' print content is concerned, she has penned over 47 print guidebooks for a dozen publishers, including Countryman Press, Lonely Planet, Chronicle Books, Frommers, Fodors, Berlitz and Insight/Discovery. And for the love of it, and to keep her creative chops well-oiled, she continues to write about luxury, romantic and beachside resorts for Away.com.

From 2006 through 2009, as the freelance Acquisitions Editor for Countryman Press, Kim curated and shepherded almost 140 primo authors to produce over 140 print travel guides. She knows how to work with authors.

Co-founder Tobin Fisher has designed everything from toys, museum installations, and sporting equipment to micro-fuel cells, medical devices, communications equipment - and now mobile software!

Previously, Tobin co-founded Ardica Technologies, where he led the development of a portable hydrogen fuel cell system that doubled the energy density performance of the best batteries.

Tobin honed his design skills at IDEO and as a Master's student in Stanford's Joint Program in Design. He also holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from Yale University where he received the Collegiate Inventors Award for his thesis work. Tobin currently holds four patents.

In his less professional life, Tobin has crossed the US and Alaska by bike, surfed a large fraction of the California coastline, backpacked through much of the Sierras and Appalachians, and even spent part of kindergarten living in China. In the San Francisco Bay Area, he can often be found kite surfing near Chrissy Field, mountain biking in Marin, or surfing at Ocean Beach.

Co-founder Kevin Collins loves to build software and participate in the most dirty, surprising, hilarious and lovable social network anywhere - planet earth!

Combining more than a decade of software development experience and a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction - Kevin hopes to make the world we share a little more compelling for everyone.
